Why volunteer with us?
In Peru, half a million women are employed to clean, cook and care for children in private homes. Invisible to society, the vast majority work up to 75 hours a week without rest, and earn less than the minimum wage ($280).
The program begins with an introductory meeting with the coordinator
A minimum of two months, 15 hours per week, is recommended.
The volunteer must complete a log of their hours and activities to receive a certificate of volunteering at the end of the program.
The volunteer attends a weekly meeting to accompany their work.
